Our mission is to empower individuals with Christ-centred education and revelations while leading them to put faith, knowledge, and love into action to accomplish their God-given mission in every sphere of society.

Our vision

We are an international Christian community called to equip, disciple, and release inspired people from all backgrounds to become catalysts of change for Christ across Cameroon and beyond.

We are a small family, representing a diversity of cultures and nationalities. Life at YWAM Buea is always filled with joyful activities bringing friends and our families together. We enjoy meeting for a game, storytelling, outing to swim at the beach, mountain hiking and to indulge in some delicious spicy local foods. Our best moment as a community is to come together to worship, pray and celebrate Jesus! Life gets fun when you are in our family from the nations.

You can easily feel as a stranger around new people from different backgrounds in a new environment. At YWAM Buea, we are constantly seeking new and creative ways to make you feel at home and welcome.

Living in YWAM Buea community is a little taste of heaven on earth: new habits with set times for a meal around the table, daily immersion in an atmosphere that challenges your faith and encourages you to study God’s word with people of different personalities, cultures and social status who desire to serve one another humbly in love. Our community holds each member accountable to their word and your walk with The Lord.

YWAM Buea, just like most mission bases is international and multicultural. You can attend a class or worship together with people from all over the world. Imagine the unique experience of living and serving alongside people from a country and continent different from yours.

Sport & fitness

At YWAM Buea, we value taking care of our physical health with sport activities. You can try to climb the Mount Cameroon, or join a gym club, or do morning walks up and down hills in town or choose together to play football or basketball game or any other sporting activity you choose to engage in.
